About the Blink animation
Your picture pops on for a few frames, disappears for slightly longer, and repeats for the length of the loop, like a blinking sign or a cursor. It is a quick way to make a flashing logo, a warning-style banner or an attention-grabbing chat emote. Pick a bold background color, since that is what shows while the image is off.

How to make a Blink GIF
- Upload an image above (JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP), or start with the sample image that is already loaded.
- The Blink animation is selected for you. Adjust the size, speed and total frames, and add filters if you want them.
- Click Download Gif. The GIF is made in your browser and saved to your device.
Best Blink settings
- Frames: 8 to 16. A blink is a toggle; more frames turns it into a slow fade.
- Speed: 25 to 40 fps. The snap is the point.
Works best on: attention-grabbing stickers and "look here" chat emotes.
Watch out: Blink plus a busy filter stack reads as broken rendering rather than a wink.

- How do I make an image blink or flash?
- Upload the image, keep Blink selected, and click Download Gif. The picture pops on for a few frames and disappears for slightly longer. 8 to 16 frames at 25 to 40 fps keeps the snap; more frames turns it into a slow fade.
- What shows while the image is off?
- The background color you pick, or nothing at all with Transparent ticked. A bold background makes a flashing sign; transparency makes a chat emote that blinks in place.
