About the Glitch animation
Your picture is corrupted a little more on every frame, so bands of it slide sideways, blocks turn magenta, yellow or cyan and parts smear, then it snaps back to the clean image every ten frames and starts falling apart again. It suits vaporwave and cyberpunk styles, album art, stream overlays and edgy profile pictures, and the Extra Glitchiness slider sets how fast it degrades. Colorful photos glitch best.

How to make a Glitch GIF
- Upload an image above (JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP), or start with the sample image that is already loaded.
- The Glitch animation is selected for you. Adjust the size, speed and total frames, and add filters if you want them.
- Click Download Gif. The GIF is made in your browser and saved to your device.
Best Glitch settings
- Extra Glitchiness: 20 to 45. The default of 0 is a subtle shimmer; this range gets visible RGB tearing while the image stays readable. Past 70 the source is gone.
- Frames: 20 to 30. Glitches loop convincingly short; long loops repeat their tells.
- Speed: 25 fps or more. Corruption reads as electrical at speed.
Works best on: text, logos, and neon or high-contrast art. The tearing needs edges to grab.
Watch out: Pairing it with the Pixelate filter at low resolution leaves nothing recognizable to glitch.
